Information Assurance for Network-Centric Naval Forces

With blessings from the National Research Council (NRC) the Chief of Naval Operations and the Naval Studies Board requested a committee to examine the issues surrounding information assurance (IA) for network-centric naval forces. Due to the expansion of network-centric operating concepts across the DOD and growing cybersecurity threats from lone actors, nation states, and malicious insiders, information assurance is a critically important concern.
